1. What WebSecure Does

WebSecure is a passive security configuration assessment tool. It sends a single safe HTTP GET request to a URL you provide and inspects the response headers and cookies against a fixed, project-defined checklist. It does not attempt to exploit, brute-force, or otherwise actively probe any target.

2. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for only scanning URLs you own or are authorized to test. WebSecure does not verify authorization on your behalf.

3. No Warranty

Findings are configuration observations, not proof of an exploitable vulnerability and not an industry-standard vulnerability score. WebSecure is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind.

4. Changes

These terms may change as the project evolves. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
